another month is gone!

Hi, there! I can´t believe how the months fly away, and that we are almost at the end of July, wow! This past month has been plenty of stuff, so many different things have happened. I´ve been working normally until the last week of June, when I´ve gone to Buenos Aires to be there with my family by my birthday, and for the Baptism of my nephew (and godson!). It´s been so good, because since we went to live to Spain we have never been there for my birthday. And...the candles were 40 this year, ops! But, don´t worry, nothing happened, ha ha! Despite my siblings say I´m "in the oven" (an argentinean way for saying that you are almost over, ha ha) no crisis has arrived yet and I´m feeling just great. And, my birthday has been on winter time again instead of in the Spanish summer. I´ve really enjoyed those days in Buenos Aires so much...Ah! and it was our anniversary too, and I´ve been sick for ten days, wow, so many things this month!
Now back to normal rithm of work, and I´m ready to reopen my shop again on Monday.
In the pics below you can see a bit from work here in the studio before my trip, then some shots of daily living at Buenos Aires, and a few spots from a walk around there. Above you can see a zip tote I´ve made as a gift for my mom´s birthday and I really like!
Hope you have a great weekend!

some studio shots

Hello, dear all! Weather has been kind of crazy during the past week, as we had rainy really dark days and also some sunny bright ones when we almost believe we were in the middle of the spring intead of beggining the winter. My studio doesn´t seem the same place and changes so much depending on the light outside...in the pictures above you have some spots from my workspace, and what I see if I take a look outside de window.
Well, friends, hope you have a good start for this new week! See you soon :-)

after the rain

Hello, dear all!
We can finally say that the winter is here, and that we´ve had a real rain! We were hoping the rain would clean the air some, and yesterday, it really did so. Today the mountains have shown us all their beauty, so full of snow and clearly seen from the city.
This past month I´ve been working on many new items, and some custom orders, and also searching for new materials and tools. I´ve found a new kind of leather that I´m loving and can´t wait to try, lets see if I have the chance soon!
In the pictures above you can see some views I´ve taken today on a short  trip just enjoying the views, some of the new items in the shop, and a bit of home life. I finally added more aprons in the shop, and still have some waiting to be photographed and published.
Well, Friends, hope you are enjoying the change of the season to summer in the North, or winter here in the South. See you soon!

leather working

leather sewing machine

leather tote bag and herringbone wool pouch

Hi Friends!
I´ve been wanting to make a leather bag since I have the new sewing machine, and I did it this week. I really like the result! Now I´ll test it for a prutential time before listing them in the shop. Ooohhh, such a pity... I´ll have to keep this one for me! :-)
I would like to start working more with leather, adding some more to my products little by little.

handmade wool sweaters

Stocking for winter here in the South Hemisphere. These are two new sweaters that my mother made for me with her knitting machine while I was in Buenos Aires a couple of weeks ago. Look at those pockets, I love them!

sweater from Wearlovenow scarf and hat from VeraJayne

And still stocking for winter... I have this new sweater from WearLoveNow, and these new scarf and hat from VeraJayne, two of my favorite Esty shops. I´m so happy with both purchases, they are much more beautiful than in the pictures! You can visit WearLoveNow here, and VeraJayne here.
Well, dear friends, hope you have a happy weekend!
