on vacation
Hello!!
I don´t know if you saw that my shop is on vacation until late September. We will be going and comming visiting family and receiving visits here so I won´t be able to manage my shop during this time. If I find some free time, maybe I can take the chance to think and plan everything I want to do for my little business in the upcomming time, as I have so many different ideas and need to think about them before deciding in which direction I should go. Of course I will continue making bags, the "new" ideas are related mostly to the materials and process.
And these past days have been pretty crazy in the studio, finishing some new bags for the fall season, the new zip totes I will (finally!!) add to my shop when I reopen, and also rushing with orders and so much stuff. I realise that I really love what I do, despite I´m so really tired sometimes, I really really like it and I´m so thankful because I have the chance to work in something I love that much.
Well, I better say good bye until the next post! Here you can see some pics of these past busy days in the studio.
xo!

another month is gone!
Hi, there! I can´t believe how the months fly away, and that we are almost at the end of July, wow! This past month has been plenty of stuff, so many different things have happened. I´ve been working normally until the last week of June, when I´ve gone to Buenos Aires to be there with my family by my birthday, and for the Baptism of my nephew (and godson!). It´s been so good, because since we went to live to Spain we have never been there for my birthday. And...the candles were 40 this year, ops! But, don´t worry, nothing happened, ha ha! Despite my siblings say I´m "in the oven" (an argentinean way for saying that you are almost over, ha ha) no crisis has arrived yet and I´m feeling just great. And, my birthday has been on winter time again instead of in the Spanish summer. I´ve really enjoyed those days in Buenos Aires so much...Ah! and it was our anniversary too, and I´ve been sick for ten days, wow, so many things this month!
Now back to normal rithm of work, and I´m ready to reopen my shop again on Monday.
In the pics below you can see a bit from work here in the studio before my trip, then some shots of daily living at Buenos Aires, and a few spots from a walk around there. Above you can see a zip tote I´ve made as a gift for my mom´s birthday and I really like!
Hope you have a great weekend!
xo!

working + fast trip
Hello, Friends!
There's been a while since my last post ... you may be probably thinking I've forgot I have a blog, but I did not, and here I am :-)
During these weeks I've been searching for the new leather, I've found it, and I've been testing and making a new edición of my bags. I've told here before I wanted to make some changes, like sturdier handles and straps, and reinforced structure. I´ve had designed this new edición before starting "making" nothing, but it was improved while I was with both hands on the work, much more than what I planned before starting. It always happens the same to me: when I'm really "making" something, I have a better idea, or I realise I can do something in a better way. And there´s an extra fact I always consider, and is that almost all of my customers are overseas: that makes me want my bags to be really light. This way the shipping will be a bit cheaper, and they will be more confortable to wear too. Well, the new edition will be finally available in the shop this week.
Appart from work, I've been away from home last week, in a short trip to Buenos Aires to visit my family. We are also enjoying an increíble weather here, with sunny days and nice temperatures... summer is turning softer while it says good bye. Thanks God we have autumn, because I'm not ready for winter yet!
Well Friends, hope you all have a good week!
Xo

back to work!
1. My Cinnamon Waxed Canvas Bag have had really intensive use in these days during the trip, and it behaved really well.
2, 3, 4. Back in summer .... back at home ... back at work.
Hi, Friends! We are finally back at home and ready to work after our holiday season. We´ve had great time in Spain! It has been hard coming back because we really love Spain and our friends and family there, but once we arrived home everything is OK!
I´m happier than I expected being back here! And I just know that with a bit more of time I´ll really love Chile too, as I love Spain after living there for a while, and as I love Argentina where I lived till I got married. The hard thing is missing the people you know and love in other places, but is great having friends and family around the world too.
Now we are back at work, with so many projects for this new year, and so much work to do, that is good! My first goal is to buy a new sewing machine. The one I have is good, but just so "domestic". I need an industrial one for being able to sew the designs I have in mind. It will help me to manage my time better and create things I can´t create now due to my tools limitations.
Do you have many new years projects? I do, as every year! In these days I´ll be thinking about them and their priorities.
I´ve said we are "finally back"... need to be said that is a way of saying ... because we are going on holidays (again!) during the last week of this month. We´ll go to Bariloche (Patagonia, Argentina) with part of my family, woo hoo! I LOVE that place! We were there in September, but it was late winter, and now it will be mid summer and it all will look so different. Is such a wonderful place. If you want to take a look, you can see the pictures I´ve posted here in this blog in September by clicking here.
Hope you have a great week!!
xoxo
ps: I´m finding harder to write in English after two weeks of vacation, thinking and speaking Spanish all the time... hope you´ll understand if I´m a bit "creative", and also hope I´ll get used again soon :-)

work + joy
Hi, Friends! This week is being a busy one! So much to do in the middle of Christmas rush. My shop has had so many orders this week, more than ever before! So happy for that :-)
Hope you are having a nice week, here you have some spots from here around!
XO!
1. I can´t avoid taking a minute to enjoy these blue skies while I walk to the post office. I understand if somebody thinks I´m pretty crazy... if I see somebody charging as many boxes as possible, stopping and staying looking "nothing" in the sky I would probably think the same, ha!
2, 3 work.
4. I have gone to the post office almost everyday this week :-)
